This Refund Policy explains our refund procedures for PrepsAI subscription services. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be available under the following conditions:

Refund requests must be submitted no later than 2 weeks (14 days) after the purchase date
The subscription must not have been used to consume any AI tokens or Cloud Run services
Refunds are not available if you have used any amount of AI tokens or Cloud Run compute resources
Refunds may be provided at our discretion for billing errors or service unavailability

2. Non-Refundable Conditions

Refunds will not be provided in the following circumstances:

AI Token Usage: If you have used any amount of AI tokens (for chat, quiz generation, flashcard generation, summary generation, mind map generation, or any other AI features)
Cloud Run Usage: If you have consumed any Cloud Run compute resources (for AI processing, transcription, or other cloud services)
Time Limit Exceeded: If more than 2 weeks (14 days) have passed since the purchase date
Service Usage: If you have actively used the premium features during the subscription period

Important Note

Once you use any AI features (chat, quiz, flashcards, summaries, mind maps) or upload files that trigger Cloud Run processing, your subscription becomes non-refundable. Please ensure you are satisfied with our service before using premium features.

3. How to Request a Refund

Your account email address
Purchase date and transaction ID (if available)
Reason for refund request
Confirmation that you have not used any AI tokens or Cloud Run services

We will review your refund request and respond within 5-7 business days. Refunds, if approved, will be processed to the original payment method within 10-14 business days.

4. Refund Processing Time

Refund processing times:

Request Review: 5-7 business days from receipt of your refund request
Refund Processing: 10-14 business days after approval to appear in your account
Total Time: Typically 15-21 business days from request to refund completion

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.

5. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will:

Stop automatic renewal at the end of your current billing period
Allow you to continue using premium features until the end of the paid period
Not result in a refund for the current billing period
Prevent future charges after the current period ends

Note: Cancellation is different from a refund. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not refund the current period. To request a refund, you must contact us directly using the email address provided above.
